What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We also use similar technology such as your browser's local storage. We call all of these “cookies” here.
Essential cookies (always on)
These make needl work, so they don't need your consent:
- Signing in: a secure cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small marker that tells the site you're signed in. They last up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Your choices: remembering your cookie choice and small preferences, such as which tab you last used.
- Security: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups and contact messages come from a person, not a bot.
- Payments: when you pay, Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages to process the payment and prevent fraud.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept)
With your OK, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how needl is used, such as which pages are visited, so we can make it better. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell data. If you choose “Essential only”, analytics don't run at all.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
