Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of needl, operated by Needl Stack ("we", "us", "needl"). By creating an account or using needl, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use needl

You must be 18 or over to create a needl account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you add for your household, including any children's information, and for keeping your login details secure.

3. Club bookings and payments

needl allows you to browse and book activities offered by independent clubs and providers. When you make a booking:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• The contract for the activity itself is between you and the club or provider, not needl. Cancellation and refund policies are set by each club and shown at the time of booking.
• needl is not responsible for the conduct, safety practices, or service quality of third-party clubs, though we require clubs to keep relevant safeguarding information (such as staff DBS checks) up to date within the platform.

4. School class communications

Class administrators (such as class representatives) are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content they post to a class group. needl provides the tools for these communications but does not review content before it's posted.

5. Progress videos

Clubs may post short video clips of children during activities, only where consent has been confirmed for that child. Videos are visible only to the child's own household. You can withdraw consent for your child to appear in future videos at any time via your account settings or by contacting the club.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, harassing, or unlawful.
• Share another family's or child's personal information without appropriate authority to do so.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform's security or access other households' data.
• Use needl for any purpose other than genuine family, school, or club activity organisation.

7. Club owner accounts

If you operate a club on needl, you're responsible for the accuracy of your listing, compliance with relevant safeguarding and licensing requirements for the activities you offer, and for setting fair cancellation and refund terms for your bookings.

8. Intellectual property

The needl platform, branding, and software are owned by Needl Stack. Content you or a club posts (such as messages, documents, or videos) remains owned by you or the relevant club; by posting it, you grant needl a licence to store and display it as needed to operate the service.

9. Liability

needl is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from third-party club conduct, service interruptions, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation isn't permitted by law.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
